Since Credit Suisse collapsed, UBS has been the only global bank Switzerland has left, and Bern wants it to hold about $18bn more in capital to prove it can't fail. UBS calls the plan excessive and has hinted at moving its headquarters, but our base case is that nothing will happen. We will keep you updated.
